Day 3: Cameron Young
Today was our third day in Iceland! We woke up from a good nights sleep at the Fljotshlid Hotel cabins and walked over to the main hotel building for breakfast. We then boarded the bus and set of to the Selandandafoss waterfall which we were lucky enough to walk behind and get wet.Then we travelled to watch a documentary about the volcanic eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in 2010 and the effects on the farm beneath it and had the opportunity to talk to farmers about there experiences. We then went to another waterfall where we had a chance to walk to the top of the Skógarfossl up 416 steps and got plenty of photos of the amazing view. We then travelled to the Sólheimajökull glacier where we strapped on our crampons and got our ice picks, we then set off walking over the glacier and covered 8km, we also went through ice tunnels and looked at crev
